History.com listed Cleopatra’s death as today, August 30, but pretty much everywhere else lists her date of death as August 12, so must be an error on their part. Apologies for the misinformation!
On this day in history: August 30, 30 B.C. - Following the defeat of her and Marc Antony’s forces, Cleopatra commits suicide in her mausoleum rather than be ruled by Octavian.
