Somewhere I have an autographed photo of Waite Hoyt along with a personal letter (typed and signed) he sent me in response to a letter I mailed him when I was a kid. Hoyt is a Hall of Famer and was a member of the 1927 New York Yankees, generally acknowledged as the best baseball team in history.
